Like most parents I'm asking myself the age-old question, "where did the summer go?" and concreting what my own mom has told me for ages: childhood just goes way too quickly, especially once the kids begin school.
We had an action-packed summer yet still had so many fun items on my to-do list that never got checked off--visiting Cobblestone Park, King's Dominion, Busch Gardens. . .
As Labor Day approaches, I'm making a concerted effort to work less--at least this weekend!--and enjoy the kids more. Hope that you can, too!

Want to change something in your world?
Be the change you want to see. Had a great conversation with a friend today--helped me realize how much power we have within ourselves to create change: in our communities, our jobs, our families. If we focus on what we can control (all we know that we should focus on) think of how much each of us could acheive! Will keep working on this one!
